Walid Romaya Co-founded Vikk AI Bags $4.2M in Pre-Seed and Seed Funding

The company raised a total of $4.2 million through a $700,000 pre-seed round and a $3.5 million seed round, with backing from MagnaSci Ventures, Ronson Shamoun, Joe Samo, Brad Jowell, and Cooper Collins.

The company will use the funding to speed up product development, expand its AI-powered legal platform, and grow its new AI-driven sponsored lawyer advertising business.

Vikk Data Hub has become a key part of the company's platform and has earned recognition from AWS and Meta for turning anonymized consumer legal inquiry data into valuable business insights.

The platform helps law firms, insurance companies, financial institutions, product manufacturers, legal aid organizations, and other businesses identify emerging legal issues, track regional trends, and better understand consumer legal needs.

Vikk AI lets users ask legal questions in plain language, review legal documents, create basic legal documents, and find lawyers that match their legal needs. The platform also gives law firms the opportunity to promote their services through AI-powered legal search based on practice area and location.

The company is preparing to launch its Lawyer Directory, making it easier for users to find and connect with lawyers while using the platform. Vikk AI was also selected for the AWS and Meta Startups: Build with Llama program, receiving $200,000 in AWS promotional credits, technical support and additional resources to help grow its AI platform.
