Wonderdog Secures $5M in Pre-Seed Funding Round

For millions of people, dogs are part of the family. But unlike human healthcare, which increasingly focuses on prevention and early detection, veterinary care is often reactive and begins only after a dog shows signs of illness. Because dogs naturally hide pain and discomfort, many health problems are discovered too late. Wonderdog aims to change that by helping pet owners detect potential health issues earlier through preventive care and at-home monitoring.

Dogs often hide signs of illness, but changes in their blood can reveal health problems long before symptoms appear. Wonderdog was created to make regular blood testing a routine part of pet care instead of something done only after a dog becomes sick.

The company's membership-based platform offers convenient at-home blood testing that measures more than 40 health biomarkers, providing deeper insights than many routine veterinary checkups. It also uses AI to track a dog's health over time and build a complete health history.
