Postman, an API collaboration startup, purchased Orbit, a developer company community growth platform provider.
The deal’s total value was not made public. Through the acquisition, it will provide more services. Under the direction of Patrick Woods, Orbit provides insights, automations, and engagement capabilities to assist developer companies in managing and expanding their communities on forums, chat platforms, social media, and other platforms.

The business was supported by Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Heavybit, and numerous others when it was founded in 2019. The Orbit team at Postman will integrate community features into the API Network of Postman to facilitate the development and growth of relationships between API builders and the developers who utilise them.
It, which is led by Abhinav Asthana, offers an API collaboration platform that is utilised by 500,000 organisations and over 30 million developers, including 98% of the Fortune 500.
It enables teams of all sizes and roles to expand their API workflows for major projects, improve the quality of their APIs, and iterate on API development quickly.
