California-Based Replit Opens First International Office in London

Replit has more than 60 million users worldwide, including users at 85% of Fortune 500 companies. The London office is Replit’s first location outside the United States.

The opening follows several recent updates from Replit, including a collaboration with OpenAI on its Free Tier, continued investment in enterprise security, and the launch of Replit Design. These efforts are aimed at making the platform available to more users and businesses.

Replit plans to use London as the hub for its European operations. The company expects to double its workforce and investment in the region over the next year as it expands its presence across Europe. Replit already supports many small businesses that use its platform regularly.

Replit’s European enterprise customers include PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst & Young, Mercedes-Benz Group, Trustpilot, and Hg. In the US, customers such as Accenture, Visa, and Zillow also use Replit in their daily operations.

Replit has also partnered with The Lord Mayor’s Appeal (TLMA) to support young Londoners from disadvantaged and under-represented backgrounds. The partners plan to run a four-week course for 100 young people, teaching them coding skills that could help them find jobs and other employment opportunities.
