California-Based Snap Appoints Ronan Harris as Chief Commercial Officer

Snap Inc., a technology company, has appointed Ronan Harris as its new Chief Commercial Officer.

Harris will lead Snap’s global advertising sales and go-to-market teams, focusing on growing advertising revenue and strengthening relationships with advertisers and agencies.

Harris has led Snap’s business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for nearly four years. During his tenure, Europe recorded 10 consecutive quarter's of double-digit year-over-year revenue growth through the second quarter of 2026.

Snap’s European revenue grew nearly 40% in the first half of 2026, reflecting continued growth in the region. Harris will now use his experience to support Snap’s global advertising business.

Before joining Snap, Harris spent more than 17 years at Google, where he helped grow its advertising business across EMEA. He most recently served as Vice President and Managing Director for Google’s UK and Ireland business.

Ajit Mohan is leaving Snap after nearly four years with the company. He previously served as President of APAC and later as Chief Business Officer. Snap thanked Mohan for his leadership and contributions and wished him the best in his plans.
