Cboe Hires Boudewijn Duinstra as Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer

Cboe Global Markets announced plans to hire Boudewijn Duinstra as Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. In this role, he will lead the company’s global risk management operations, and help strengthen its risk framework, operational stability, and governance.
Boudewijn Duinstra brings more than 30 years of experience in risk management, clearing, and derivatives markets, including leadership roles at major global financial institutions.
Most recently, he served as CEO of ABN AMRO Clearing USA LLC. He also previously worked as Head of Risk Management at ICE Clear Europe and held several senior positions at ABN AMRO, including Global Chief Risk Officer and Managing Board Member of ABN AMRO Clearing Bank. Earlier in his career, he worked in trading and risk management at a proprietary trading firm.
Boudewijn Duinstra will be based at Cboe Global Markets’s global headquarters in Chicago and will also spend time in Amsterdam to support the company’s operations in one of its largest international markets, including its U.S. and European equities clearing businesses. He will report to Mr. Donohue.
