The seasoning balls dissolve in a cooking pot, helping people prepare meals without buying, measuring, and preparing multiple ingredients. Its products are designed for dishes such as birria, pozole, tinga, chicken chipotle, and chile colorado.
The company's first product was the Birria Bomb, which simplifies the preparation of birria, a Mexican dish known for its chile-rich broth and tacos. The products can be used in slow cookers, pressure cookers, and regular pots.

Who Invested in EZ Bombs’ Series A Round?
The $25 million Series A round was led by CAVU Consumer Partners.
As part of the investment, CAVU Principal Brandon Neumann will join EZ Bombs' board of directors.
Why the Funding Matters
EZ Bombs will use the funding to expand its retail presence, increase manufacturing capacity, introduce new products, and make executive hires.
The investment will support the company's growth as it expands beyond online sales into more retail locations across the United States.
Who founded EZ Bombs?
EZ Bombs was founded in 2023 by Brandon Castaneda, Tina Castaneda, and Nichole Munoz. The company is based in Orlando, Florida.
“Growing up, my mom’s cooking was the center of everything in our house, and I wanted anyone to be able to make those meals at home without spending all day in the kitchen,” said Brandon Castaneda, co-founder and CEO of EZ Bombs. “We took her recipes, packed the whole flavor base into one Bomb, and showed people how easy it could be.
“Most seasonings are sold as ingredients while EZ Bombs starts with the meal,” said Brandon Neumann. “The speed with which EZ Bombs moved from digital demand into national retail – while remaining disciplined and profitable from day one – was one of the things that got our attention.
Market and Business Growth
EZ Bombs has expanded from no retail locations at the beginning of 2025 to more than 8,000 retail locations.
The company initially built its business through TikTok Shop and Amazon before expanding into national retail. Its products are now available at Walmart, Target, Costco, Kroger, Albertsons, Publix, and other retailers.
The company said it sold more than 1 million units through TikTok Shop in 2025 and became the platform's top food and beverage product that year. It also recorded the largest live-show sales on the platform.
EZ Bombs has expanded its product range beyond Birria Bombs to include seasoning products for pozole, tinga, chicken chipotle, and chile colorado. More products are planned for retail later this year.
