XCaliber Health Raises $6.5M in Seed Funding

The company plans to use the funds to speed up product development and expand its platform to more organizations across the country.

Health systems, provider groups, and digital health partners use XCaliber to replace manual, disconnected workflows like prescription refills, referrals, lab alerts, and care gap management with automated processes, while still keeping people in control of important decisions.

For the past 20 years, healthcare systems have added tools like electronic health records, billing, and scheduling systems, but they have never had a single system to connect them. Even with AI added on top, the core problem persists: these tools still operate in silos and cannot fully automate end-to-end workflows or act independently.

As a result, healthcare staff spend about 15.5 hours per physician each week on tasks like record retrieval, referrals, scheduling and documentation, which can cost a 20 provider practice around $1.4 million annually due to manual work, delays, and inefficient processes, even if those costs are not always clearly tracked.

XCaliber solves this problem with a single AI operating system that connects data, workflows, and automation in one place, allowing healthcare organizations to run more like semi-autonomous systems, with routine administrative tasks handled by AI agents. At the same time, clinical and operational teams retain control of key decisions and patient care.
