
Amtech Systems, Inc. has appointed Thomas Sabol as it's Chief Financial Officer, effective May 14, 2026. In this role, he will also act as the companys main accounting and financial officer. He replaces Mark Weaver who had been serving as Interim CFO.
Thomas Sabol has over 30 years of senior financial leadership experience, including more than 20 years as a CFO for both public and private companies. He has strong experience in electronics manufacturing, electronic payments, software, and technology-driven businesses.
Thomas Sabol previously worked as Interim Chief Financial Officer, and Head of HR at Korn Ferry Executive Interim Services from August 2025 to May 2026. Since May 2023 he has also worked as a consultant, providing CFO and financial support services to various companies.
Earlier he served as CFO of Corcentric Inc. from October 2021 to March 2023 and of Transact Campus Inc. from November 2019 to December 2020. Before that, he served as CFO of Rimini Street, Inc. from 2016 to 2019, where he helped take the company public and managed financial reporting, controls and investor relations.

Earlier in his career, Thomas Sabol worked at Plexus Corp. as Chief Financial Officer from 1996 to 2002 and later as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President from 2002 to 2003, during a time of global expansion and multiple acquisitions.
He began his career at Coopers & Lybrand as a Senior Audit Manager, where he worked on several IPOs and in the firm’s SEC National Office. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a degree in Accounting from Marquette University.
