Exchange Bank Announces Promotion of Mindy Smith to Community Relations Officer

Exchange Bank announced the promotion of Mindy Smith to Community Relations Officer, recognizing her strong commitment to community involvement, customer relationships and leadership.

In her new role, Mindy Smith will lead community engagement programs and strengthen partnerships with local nonprofits and schools.

She will also help develop a financial literacy program to provide practical, accessible financial education for the community, an area Exchange Bank believes is increasingly important in local communities.

Mindy Smith joined Exchange Bank in 2015 as a Retail Service Manager, where she developed a strong passion for community impact, customer connection and business growth. In 2021, she moved to the banks marketing department as a Social Media & Marketing Specialist.

In that role, she helped connect employees with community involvement opportunities, improved internal engagement and strengthened the bank’s support for local initiatives. Her promotion to Community Relations Officer reflects both her career growth, and her commitment to community service.

Mindy Smith graduated from California State University, Chico, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on marketing. She is also a Certified Financial Marketing Professional through the American Bankers Association.

She actively supports Redwood Empire Food Bank and Friends in Service Here (F.I.S.H.), combining her professional skills with a strong commitment to community service. Known for her positive attitude, and teamwork, she continues to play an important role in strengthening the banks community presence.
