Nourish Raises $100M Series C Funding Led by Menlo Ventures

Nourish, a NYC-based provider of a dietitian-led metabolic health clinic, has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round led by Menlo Ventures.
The round also saw participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners. The raise brought the total amount to $215M.
The company plans to use the funding to expand its clinical network, increase investment in AI tools for patients and healthcare providers, grow its metabolic clinic care model, and strengthen partnerships with health plans, employers, and healthcare systems.
Nearly 200 million Americans live with nutrition-related chronic conditions, which are a major cause of the nearly $5 trillion spent on healthcare each year and more than one million preventable deaths annually. Nourish is addressing this challenge through an AI-powered metabolic clinic focused on improving long-term health through behavior change.

The company says its care model has delivered strong results, including 8% average weight loss, a 1.3-point reduction in A1C levels, a 31-point drop in LDL cholesterol, and a 23-point reduction in systolic blood pressure. These improvements are estimated to save health plans more than $2,000 per patient each year.
Every patient at Nourish works virtually with a Registered Dietitian and receives a personalized care plan. Depending on the patient’s needs, the plan can also include lab testing, GLP-1 prescriptions, medication management, and other virtual medical services coordinated with their existing healthcare providers.
Each patient also has access to an AI health agent that supports behavior change and helps coordinate care. The company says its AI-powered mobile app has hundreds of thousands of monthly active users with strong engagement. For healthcare providers, AI copilot tools deliver real time insights and automate administrative tasks, improving care quality.
The rapid growth of GLP-1 medications has increased demand for metabolic care, but medication alone is often not enough. Less than half of patients stay on GLP-1 treatments after six months and many regain weight if they stop without ongoing nutrition and lifestyle support. Health insurers are also seeking scalable solutions to reduce long term healthcare costs.
For eligible patients, Nourish combines insurance covered GLP-1 medications with nutrition focused care and behavior support. The companys approach is designed to help patients achieve lasting lifestyle changes and more sustainable long term health outcomes.
Founded just four years ago, Nourish has grown rapidly, building a network of more than 10,000 Registered Dietitians and completing millions of appointments. The company has more than tripled its growth year over year and now works with hundreds of major health plans, reaching over 200 million covered lives. Thousands of providers across more than 250 health systems also refer patients to Nourish’s care platform.

“Chronic disease is the central failure of U.S. healthcare — nearly 200 million Americans affected, trillions spent, and outcomes that still don't move. What Nourish has built in four years is remarkable: a care model that actually bends the cost curve, with 10,000 dietitians, deep payer relationships, and clinical outcomes patients stick with,” said J.P. Sanday, Partner at Menlo Ventures. “Most companies get one of those things right. Nourish has all of them. We're proud to lead this round.”
“Chronic disease is the largest cost driver in U.S. healthcare, and the system still isn't built to treat it,” said Aidan Dewar, Co-Founder and CEO of Nourish. “Too often, patients get expensive, reactive, fragmented care that doesn't actually make them healthier. We've built the care model and technology to change that — driving behavior and lifestyle change that deliver real clinical outcomes at low cost and with a great patient experience. The demand from patients, providers, health plans, employers, and health systems has never been clearer, and this round positions us to meet it at scale.”
