Illinois-Based Huron Elects Thomas Richards to Board of Directors

Dr. Richards is an experienced executive, advisor, and board leader with expertise in healthcare, life sciences, capital markets, and corporate governance. He has helped organisations grow, drive innovation, and create long-term business value.

Dr. L. Thomas Richards most recently served as Chair of the Board of Directors at WittKieffer, an executive search and leadership advisory firm focused on healthcare, higher education, and life sciences.

During his career, he has led several healthcare and life sciences companies, including serving as Interim CEO of One Biomed and CEO of TessArae. He has also advised venture capital and private equity firms on healthcare innovation and emerging technologies.

Before moving into business leadership, Dr. Richards worked as an emergency physician and served as an assistant professor at Stanford University and the University of California, San Francisco.
