Jacobs appoints Cheryl Lim as chief human resources officer

Jacobs has appointed Cheryl Lim as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective May 18, 2026. She will be based in Dallas and will report directly to Chair, and CEO Bob Pragada.
Cheryl Lim joins Jacobs with more than 20 years of experience as a senior human resources leader at major global companies. Most recently, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Section 16 Officer at Vertiv Holdings, a company with $10.2 billion in revenue and around 34,000 employees worldwide.
At Vertiv Holdings, Cheryl Lim played an important role during a period of strong company growth. She focused on connecting HR strategies with long-term business success and shareholder value.
She also modernized the company’s global HR and talent programs, helped create a stronger performance-driven culture, and introduced new employee behaviors and reward systems tied to performance results.

Before joining Vertiv Holdings, Cheryl Lim served as Vice President of Human Resources at ITT Inc., supporting its Connect & Control Technologies business.
Earlier in her career, she spent 20 years at Honeywell International in several senior HR leadership roles. She served as Vice President of HR for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and high-growth regions, overseeing operations across 45 countries and supporting 35,000 employees. She also led global HR for Honeywell Corporate, managed large company-wide transformation programs, and served as President of the Honeywell European Works Council.
Throughout her career, Cheryl Lim has built a strong reputation for achieving results through data-driven people strategies and strong leadership teams. Her experience includes global HR operations, mergers and acquisitions integration, talent development, executive compensation, succession planning, and employee and labor relations.
Cheryl Lim earned an MBA from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in German and Management Studies from University of Leeds in the U.K. She is a dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom and speaks both English and German fluently.
