PagerDuty Appoints Eric Prengel as Chief Financial Officer

In his new role, Prengel will lead PagerDuty’s Finance and Business Operations organization, overseeing finance, accounting, global business operations, corporate strategy, corporate development, and investor relations. He will focus on supporting the company’s business goals as it enters its next stage of growth.

Prengel succeeds Howard Wilson, who will retire before the end of the second quarter of fiscal 2027, which ends on July 31, 2026.

Prengel joins PagerDuty with more than 20 years of leadership experience across the technology, investment banking, and consulting industries. Throughout his career, he has held senior roles at companies including Elastic, JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank, Thomas Weisel Partners, and Stern Stewart & Co.
